Blondie's home from the trainer. Everyone has come to the gate to greet her. As soon as they saw the horse trailer pull into the drive, every horse in the neighborhood ran to the fence to get a closer look and ours ran to the gate. She's been gone for 2 months and it's good to have her home. |

It's almost as if Leo is whispering to her "welcome home" |

Katie (Blondie's mother) and Leo (her brother) stayed by her for a long time - one on one side and the other on the other side of her. It seemed that they felt they needed to protect her from the other 2 horses on the property. Since Blondie has been gone for 2 months, now that she's back they will have to re-establish the pecking order. Katie has always been Alpha mare an Leo has always been at the bottom so the 3 remaining horses will have to determine who will be #2. My money is on Blondie. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
