April 26, 2004Still no baby! We're 7 days late! The ground is starting to dry out and Katy's eating grass as fast as she can. (she's eaten all the grass in her foaling pen) We thought she was in labor last night about dinner time but it was just a belly ache. She passed a little gas and 'labor' was over. If we hadn't been there when she was bred, if we didn't know for sure that she had a follicle AND if the vet hadn't examined her and felt something kick back at his probing, we wouldn't be so sure he has anything but a big hay belly!. Arnie is sure the baby's a colt because it's so late. We'll see . |
