April 27, 2004Still no baby! We're 8 days late! We've done some research and they say that a foal can be born anywhere between 310 days to 370 days after conception. Katy was bred May 12, 2003 so this baby is taking its time! This is her first so I guess we'll start worrying after May 12. The only thing Katy wants right now is to GET OUT of this pen!! She's standing by the gate waiting for the slightest opportunity to bolt through to be with the other horses (like she did yesterday). . |
