Baby's first day outside and his first experience with a vet. He got all his shots and a blood test to see if he got enough colostrum (that might not be the right spelling but it will have to do) and the test came back that he got 100% transfer of all the nutrients he needs to be a healthy horse. Katy got her check and a check of the placenta and everything is intact. The entire placenta came out in one piece.
The other horses are all hanging around and are trying to get into the pen to see just what that little thing is.
