August 23, 2005Our neighbor has hired Pancho (who was training Leo), to train his 2 year old filly, Comet, and Pancho is using our round pen to do the training.. Here, everyone is watching the lesson. When they weren't standing and watching as in the picture, they were all running circles around the building. Everyone was very excited to have a new horse on the property.

Hoppy, the ratty-looking rooster (in front), won't stop fighting the other roosters so here he is all beat up. Other roosters are usually minding their own business and he attacks them and gets himself beat up. Hoppy is pictured with his favorite hen. Each rooster has his favorite hen but will hang around with any hen who will let him. |

This is what Hoppy is supposed to look like. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
