December 9, 2004Here leo is finally home from the hospital. If you want to see his injuries I have provided a link but WARNING - the images are graphic and are not suitable for children or those with a weak stomach. When you look at the pictures, you wonder how he survived. The vet instructed us in the care of his wounds which need to be dressed every 2 days. We're giving him antibiotics and pain medication. Fortunately, he is still the sweetest and best behaved little colt I've ever seen. Click here to see pictures from the night of the accident. (Be careful, they give me nightmares)

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I try to take pictures daily and update the site by 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time, but it usually gets done sometime later.
