It's another sad day. Bailey, Bobbie's sweet horse had to be put down today. He foundered, probably because of the massive antibiotics administered to ward off infection from his attack by stray dogs (click here to see my previous entry). His wounds were healing very nicely but the founder was just too much to expect him to bear so Bobbie made the proper decision to end his misery. Founder is very painful for horses and Bailey could barely stand even with painkillers. |
