July 8, 2007Rain, Rain, Go Away!! We actually had a day of sun yesterday, but here come the rain clouds again. The barn is flooded, the pastures are flooded and the poor horses have to wade through mud up to their knees to get in that pasture (I guess they don't mind or they wouldn't be over there). As soon as we can get the mower in their without getting stuck in the mud, we'll be getting the pasture back in shape.

Mr. & Mrs. Hooten have come to get their dog measured for an assistance harness (that's an "assistance dog vest" she's wearing- it says "Please don't pet me, I'm working"). Restaurants and businesses are required by law to allow assistance dogs into their establishments and t's never a good idea to pet an assistance dog because it distracts them from doing their job which is to assist their person. Their harness will be ready in about 2 weeks. |

I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
