Leo (in the background) is doing fine after his surgery. He's all healed, the swelling has disappeared and he's feeling no pain. Here, everyone is watching Blondie taking a nap. It's amazing because it is about 95 degrees and so humid it feels like a steam bath outside and she's sleeping in full sun |

Totally zoned out. She's still losing her baby coat so she looks all blotchy. |

We noticed a lot of water around our automatic waterer in the pasture yesterday and on closer examination, it appears that it has been struck by lightening (we had a brief storm and several loud claps of thunder the other day). It's a good thing that none of the horses were drinking from it when it happened. It's a real shame because these waterers are about $500 plus shipping. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
