June 22, 2005Katy is about to be scoped with an Ultra Sound to make sure she is bred (and she is) by Bedonna of Bedonna's Performance Horses in Oklahoma. We've bred both her and Kit to Bedonna's Buckskin Quarter Horse stallion. If all goes well and God willing, we'll have 2 babies in 11 months.Katy is due sometime around May 7, 2006.

Getting loaded into the trailer and ready to go home. On the way home we stopped to get gas and got back on the road. An 18 wheeler kept honking at us and waving something. Arnie was worried that he had forgotten his wallet so we pulled over and the truck driver pulled in front of us. His first words were "will you sell me that Palomino?". What he was waving at us was cash! Never had that happen before... |

Mystyk was so happy to see Katy she didn't know what to do. Every day in the month and a half that Katy's been at Bedonna's, Mystyk has looked and called for her and has moped around. Leo and Kit are big buddies so he missed his mother and his friend so he jumped all over Katy and ran circles around both of them as soon as he saw them. It's funny, every time a horse trailer comes down the driveway, our horses and the horses in the pasture next to us go crazy. They all run along the fence to see who's in the trailer. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
