Another sad day at Circle E. Kit, Arnie's horse, died this morning. We aren't having a necropsy done but we suspect it's from the RV tear caused during the delivery of her colt. (he wasn't in the proper position to go smoothly through the birth canal and his foot tore through her colon and rectum). Arnie had been giving her very special care to minimize infection until the swelling went down and the tear could be surgically repaired (the vet said 30 to 60 days before they would even try to do the surgery). We tried our best but we couldn't save her.

I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
