May 24 , 2007All four of Blondies' legs are swollen and Arnie is running cold water on them to make the swelling go down. We aren't sure why they are swollen but suspect it is the new wormer we gave her last night with her food. The vet was called, and he said that the swelling was probably caused by the dead worms and to let him know if the swelling doesn't go down in a few days. Poor baby. Horses have to be wormed every 2 months and young horses every month. They pick up worms from eating from the gound and if they aren't wormed, it can damage their health. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
