Blondie has changed a lot in her almost one month on this earth. Her nose and the skin around her eyes has turned very dark Everyone has a different idea about what color she'll grow up to be but her mane has a light band at the base so I'll bet that she'll be a Palomino |

Our first taste of grain. Arnie's holding Katy back because she wants the grain too - it's made for foals and tastes really good because it's sweet. Blondie has decided that it's delicious and loves it. |

Here we are getting our foot training. Arnie is holding up her leg and tapping the bottom of her hoof. This is an important step in de-sensitizing a foal to get it ready for the farrier. Her first trip to the farrier is like a first haircut for a kid and we want her to stand nice and quiet so she will get a good trim. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
