Get me outa here!! Doesn't it look like that's what she's thinking?
Blondie is coming along very well with her training. Here she is in an open arena which is a new experience for her. Not once did she buck or "explode" (green horses will sometimes get a little nutty when they are first being trained because it's new and unfamiliar). She just put her head down (that's good) and went to work. |

Here she is being a good girl and doing just what she's being told to do by Amy Andresen, our trainer. |

Amy is "flexing" Blondie's head by pulling her head back to Amy's knee. This is good training because it makes the horse supple and responsive. | |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
