May 17, 2004Back home, AT LAST. I loved being in Arizona but didn't love the drive home alone (nor the drive there for that matter). This is Lucille, our new dog. Arnie found her tied to our fence at 6 am. The dogs were barking around 3:30 am so that must be when someone was out there. Lucille is so lucky a coyote didn't happen by; she would have been defenseless tied to a fence. We love Rottweilers (or any critter) so she has a home until her last breath. Her name is Lucille because that was the song playing on the radio when Arnie found her. We think she's about 6 months old. Tomorrow she goes to the vet for shots and a test for heartworm. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I try to take pictures daily and update the site by 5:00 pm Central Daylight Time, but it usually gets done sometime later.
