We've had a lot of rain and Leo has been playing in the mud. He's decided to give Arnie a kiss. Leo is He'll be seven months old November 28.

The new calf isn't sure what that big blue thing wearing a hat is or if he should go near it. The dogs think he is a new dog (he's about the same size as a small German Shepherd) and are worried about this strange dog being on their property. |

Here come the cows - they are worried Newsy is getting something they aren't even though there are piles of hay just behind them. |

Leo is being weaned so he doesn't have anyone to hang out with. He's thinking maybe this 'dog' will play with him like the rest will. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,

I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I try to take pictures daily and update the site by 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time, but it usually gets done sometime later.
