Hens fighting for the same space in the chicken coop. The hen behind is trying to defend her eggs and the one in front has decided she wants to sit in the same spot even though there is an identical spot right next to this one. |

Finally, a break from 99 degree weather. We finally have a nice cool fall day with a little rain (no rain for most of the summer and hotter-than-hell for 3 months). This is a welcomed break. |

I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
