September 30, 2005Is is a dog? NO! It's a coyote. It's dawn and the horses told me this coyote was in one of our paddocks. He saw me and ran behind the loafing shed (a three sided shelter with a roof used to give the horses shelter from the sun or inclement weather). There isn't much room behind the shed but he squeezed between it and the fence and just stared at me as I took this picture |

Racker, the horse next door, is looking to see what's going on at Circle E. Horses are very curious creatures and will always come to the fence if anything different is going on. |

Katy and Kit, the two mothers-to-be are such good buddies that they eat from the same pile of hay even though there are several flakes (a flake is a slice of hay out of a bale) laying around and plenty for everyone to have her own flake. |

Our blog (a web log or sort of online diary) is maintained by chief stall mucker, poop picker-upper and all around slave to the animals,
Norma Epstein.
I write it all myself (no Pulitzer or accolades necessary) and I take all the pictures with a Minolta digital camera.
I take pictures and post to the blog whenever I find something interesting or have something interesting to say (and even sometimes when I don't).
