Making a custom saddle, page 7

deep in the heart of the great state of Texas

The rear jockey has been cut out and is ready for placement
A rope border tooling has been added and the jockey has been placed on the saddle and aligned for lacing.

The edges have been burnished and the two pieces are laced together.

This is one on of the last things permanently attached to the saddle. First, holes must be cut for saddle strings and then it will be screwed in place under the seat jockey.
